Frequently asked questions
Answers to the most common questions about our group trips
We organise group trips from 30 people. The From Sea to Ski trip goes ahead from 45 participants. The bigger the group, the better the price per person. Not sure yet? Just ask us about the options!
Ski equipment isn’t included as standard, but you can easily add it in your personal booking portal. On arrival day our tour guides walk you over to the rental shop and introduce you to the rental company straight away.
Absolutely! The great thing about Italy is that ski lessons here are still reasonably priced. Lessons start the day after arrival and run daily from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 15:00. The instructors are Italian and teach in English. Just state your level when booking and you’ll be placed in the right group — on the first lesson day our tour guides come along with you.
In a life-threatening emergency you dial 112, just like at home — even with your own SIM card you’ll reach the Italian emergency services. Not life-threatening, but a fracture on the slopes? Then call the piste rescue service. Not on the slopes? Head to the local first-aid post in the village, or otherwise the emergency department in Turin. Always take out good travel insurance and keep every receipt. Our tour guides are available 24/7 and will help you call the emergency services.
When booking you pay a 50% deposit — paying the full amount straight away is of course also fine. The remaining 50% is due no later than 8 weeks before departure.
Absolutely! Depending on the package your group falls under there are various options. The basics are set by the main booker or organisation, but on top of that you can add extra activities yourself.
Depending on the trip you’ve booked you’ll usually have a twin room or a shared room (4 to 6 people). In some cases we go for twin rooms only, in others for a mix. When booking you’ll see exactly which options apply to your trip.
Yes, our tour guides are on site all week and reachable 24/7 via WhatsApp. You’re never on your own.
